Makanacoon's Antigua

Nicknamed: "Tigua"
Silver Mackerel Patch Tabby with White
DOB:  11/18/2016

Cardio tested on 07/17/2019 and found to be free of HCM at the time of the screening. (Click here to see report.)

Tigua is Negative for the MYBPC3-A31P gene mutation by default, meaning that both of her parents are Negative.

Antigua is my regal silver girl that walks around like "Miss America Kitty" with her head held high and mind focused on where she wants to go. She is a girl with nice big boning, and a lovely mackerel pattern. She gets along with everyone including our dogs, and has earned the reputation of being one of the biggest girls here at Makanacoon.

R P Cathouse MissAtie of Makanacoon

Nicknamed: "Atie"
Blue Patch Classic Tabby with White
DOB:  07/17/2018

HCM screened on 07/17/2019, and found to be free of HCM at the time of the screening.

Negative for the MYBPC3-A31P gene mutation by default, meaning that both of her parents are Negative.

I was delighted to get Atie from Stella Gaynor of R P Cathouse. In the early years of my breeding program, I bred some lovely blue kittens, and then for years had cats that couldn't produce blues. I decided that at this point in my life, I wanted to produce some lovely blues again. So Miss Atie was brought in with her lovely coat, inch long lynx tips that I love, and her wonderful boning. I wanted to name Atie "At Last", but the letters were too long for a CFA name, so I took the "At" and put "Miss" in front, and that was it. I love Atie for her extreme sweetness and ability to get along with everyone, including our Doberman, Mafatu. We have let Atie have her first litter, which is lovely. When we get her back in shape after her litter is gone, we look forward to showing her in the local CFA shows that are in our area. I'm so happy that I am finally seeing BLUE!!

Makanacoon's Red Skunk

Nicknamed: "Skunk"
Red Ticked Tabby
DOB:  09/23/2018

HCM cardio tested on 07/17/2019 and found to be free of HCM at the time of screening.

Negative for the MYBPC3-A31P gene mutation by default, meaning that both of her parents are Negative.

Skunk got her name as a very tiny baby, showing that she was full of personality from the start. As the weeks went by I loved to watch her interact with her siblings, chase balls, and be the first to climb to the top of the baby cat trees in her room. It wasn't long before she knew her name, and would come when called. She is a lap kitty when she wants to be, and often sleeps right up against me at night. She is quite smart, extremely loving, and the cuddle bug that everyone wants in their new kitty. I adore her!!

CH Makanacoon's Hula Dancer

Nicknamed: "Dancer"
Brown Patch Tabby with White
DOB:  04/18/2019

Cardio Screened on 06/17/2020 and found to be free of HCM at the time of screening.

Negative for the MYBPC3-A31P gene mutation by default, meaning that both of her parents are Negative.

Dancer is the last daughter from the pairing of CH Makanacoon's Remember When and Tremithicks Kaui Katie of Makanacoon. We have repeated this breeding 3 times, and have gotten beautiful kittens each time. Katie has now been retired, and now it's up to Hula Dancer to carry on her mother's legacy. Dancer is as sweet as her picture. Her temperament is beyond wonderful. She is playful and happy, and is often seen carrying a toy mouse or feather wand around. Sweet? Yes! But, don't try to take one of her toys away!!

R P Cathouse Panokea of Makanacoon

Nicknamed: "Sprinkles"
Black and White
DOB:  07/15/2019

Panokea was cardio tested for HCM on 07/12/2021 and found to be free of HCM. (Click here to see report.)

Negative for the MYBPC3-A31P gene mutation by default, meaning that both of her parents are Negative.

It isn't hard to understand why we call this kitty Sprinkles. Just look at her precious face, and the little sprinkles of black dots. When we got her from Stella Gaynor, we were told that she was extremely sweet. Well, Stella was right as Sprinkles is one of the most precious girls we have ever gotten. She's extremely happy, loves to hang around my husband and I, and will play whenever a toy or feather wand comes out. It's such a joy to have Sprinkles here at Makanacoon, and we are now looking forward to her first litter of baby coonlets the end of August 2020.

Makanacoon's Lamb Chop

Nicknamed: "Chop Chop"
Black Smoke With White Polydactyl
DOB:  09/03/2019

HCM cardio tested and found to be free of HCM on 09/30/2020 (first screening). (Click here to see report.)

Negative for the MyBPC3-A31P Gene mutation by default - meaning both parents are Negative.

Lamb Chop is quite a girl, and definitely knows her name when called. She can be a little bossy with the other girls in the house, and often will chase off any cat that gets on my bed at night. But she is very affectionate to me, and loves to cuddle which is one of the things I love most about her. She is expecting her first litter the end of November 2020. Can't wait to see a bunch of little Chop Chops running around!

Makanacoon's Paparika Patty

Nicknamed: "Pappie"

HCM screened on 03/23/2022 and found to be free of HCM at the time of the screening.

Negative for the MyBPC3-A31P Gene Mutation by default - Both parents are Negative.

Pappie as I call her is a chunky vibrant red lady. She is so quiet, one would never know she's around. I have a cat bed on my bed next to my pillow that she sleeps in every night. I love reaching out at night and petting her. Her boning is wonderful, and goes back to several of the big boys I've had in the past. Her first kittens are on the ground, and are huge. She will carry on in her kittens the ability to throw big cats.

Makanacoon's Hawaiian Ginger

Ginger is a polydactyl female who has 6 healthy toes on each foot. She is another all brown female with a gorgeous classic pattern. She has a lovely thick Maine Coon coat that flows when she walks. I think she thinks she's a bird as she spends a lot of her time up in one of our cat trees.

Makanacoon's Sparkles Likan Orchid

Nicknamed: "Sparkles"
Silver Patched Mackerel Tabby with White
DOB:  10/23/2021

Sparkles was cardio tested on 11/16/2022 and found to be free of HCM at the time of the screening.

Negative for MyBPC3-A31P Gene Mutation (both parents are negative)

Sparkles is a gorgeous Silver Mackerel Patch Tabby with White female that looks a lot like her mother CH Rockstarcats Rainboz of Makanacoon, who we recently retired.

Sparkles is a real sweetheart, and if any of our young girls could sparkle like the shine on an orchid pedal, it would be her. We have bred her to our male Makoa, and if pregnant, hope to see her first litter in June of 2023.
