Our new CFA Champion - CH Makanacoon's Hula Dancer!

CH Makanacoon's Hula Dancer

This is R P Cathouse Panokea of Makanacoon.

Panokea (Pah-No-Kay-Ah means black and white in Hawaiian) was a 6-month-old kitten at the show. Panokea, who we call Sprinkles for her call name, placed 1st Best of Breed in two rings, 2nd Best of Breed in two rings out of 5 Maine Coon kittens, and finaled 8th out of 26 All Breed Kittens in Jan Stevens' ring. We couldn't help but laugh when she started to hug two of the judges. Love her adorable Black and White face, the fact that the judges could see how nice her muzzle is despite the placement of her color which makes seeing it difficult, and the beautiful job that breeder friend, Stella Gaynor, did in raising her.

Makanacoon's Kuu Makoa.

This is a picture of 4 month old Makanacoon's Kuu Makoa (Ma-Ko-Ah means as brave as a lion in Hawaiian). We are so proud of Makoa who for his first time out to a show placed Best of Breed in 3 rings, 2nd Best of Breed in two rings (5 Kittens), Finaled 2nd in a Speciality ring, and Finaled 7th and 10th in two other All rings out of 26 kittens. We hope to get out to more shows, and to eventually Grand Champion this baby. Makoa will eventually be replacing his Dad, CH Makanacoon's Remember When as a breeding boy in our cattery. He is such a sweet gentle soul, but loves to play and show off. We love him!!
